In this video I explore a new Utah feature that enables human-readable URLs for Knowledge Articles. I find value in a human-readable URL in that they quickly inform a person who may choose to click or not click on the link on what the destination may contain. However after recording and editing this video I watched a ServiceNow Community video titled “Video Shorts: Human Readable URL’s” (non-human readable link: https://youtu.be/UjxrAHBowm0) in which the narrator emphasized the improved Search Engine Optimization (SEO) when you enable a capability like this. Towards the end of the video I also introduce the topic of Dynamic Page Variables which I hadn’t encountered before but for which I could see some potentially helpful use cases beyond providing the “readable content” for these human readable URLs. #servicenow #utah #userexperience #accessibility
